Having made pit equipment for the Marussia F1 Team, Russell & Shane were summoned to Silverstone to view the team garage at the Silverstone Circuit.

“A place for everything, and everything in its place” is the order of the day.

A lot of time and effort goes into the layout of the Pit Garage, as well as planning for the Pitstop scenario, and quality equipment is a priority.

“We had a good look up & down pit lane” said Russell “and Shane & I have good understanding of what is required”.

Dave O’Neill, Team Manager At Marussia F1, has clear instructions as to what is required, and RS Fabrications are working closely with the team to add or improve on the current race track set up.

“Our CAD Engineer, Andor Hegedus, has a direct line to Marussia technical information, and we are able to design and fabricate equipment as & when it is required in a short tome frame”, continued Russell ” and items such as bodywork stands, have to be modified when upgrades to the car are implemented”.

RS Fabrications are currently supporting Marussia with their Vehicle Transport Equipment and Race Car Support hardware.
