Prototype development work started on the Aston Martin V12 manifolds recently.

RS Fabrications and Bamford Rose have come together on this difficult installation to extract the most performance possible from the Aston Martin V12 Engine.

Bamford Rose have forged a path in Aston Martin tuning and started work at the beginning of the year with RS on  the Vantage V8 manifold set-up.

It was a quality issue that led us to RS Fabrications“, said Mike ” Adrian and I met with Russell & Shane and we knew what we could expect on the V8 project. After successful prototype V8  manifolds, we are now in full production with RS and the team from Banbury“.

Note:- Bamford Rose fit V8 Manifolds & 200 cell catalytic converters to the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, and along with a couple of other tweaks, extract an additional 10 – 12% BHP performance gain over the standard OEM set-up.

It will be interesting to see the performance gain on the V12 and although the prototype system, seen here has yet to be final gas purged & Tig, the manifolds have been painstakingly fabricated with equal length primaries and 3 into 1 racing merged collectors, to fit within the limited space in the DB9 engine bay.

Development is set to continue with a baseline figure being established and subsequent testing with the new set-up. Time will tell, and adjustments may be made to primary lengths to fine tune the complete set-up for ultimate performance.

Further updates will be posted as performance figures are established & manipulated on the V12 Project.
