In association with Brands Hatch Morgan, RS fabrications was asked to fabricate a roll hoop on Anita Lightstone’s 1956 4 seater Morgan.

As each Morgan appears to be manufactured to different specifications, a template for the Roll Hoop was hand cut, and a hoop bent up in Aerocom 33 spec tube. This was then fabricated to fit the vehicle with the locations for mounting plates drilled through the Ash Frame.

Having been finished in satin black and fitted, the roll hoop offers Anita the added security and protection on this classic vehicle that is required for reassurance in today’s motoring conditions.

Anita also plans to compete in some classic rally events, so the roll hoop has been built to The MSA’s Specifications and comes with all material certification. This make the Morgan eligible for future motorsport events when the time arrives.
