Prior testing saw a marked improvement for the Jag and with the recent RS Racepaint finish, the whole package looks set for the GT3 Championship assault.
Having worked day & night, John Christie and the Apex Motorsport Team delivered a fantastically prepared Racing Car. With limited testing, the GT3 Jag struggled on the softer Mitchelin compound tyres.
“It has been difficult to even get the Jaguar to the grid”,commented John Christie Team Manager “and with limited resources, RS Fabrications have help us to move forward even with the build timeline constraints”.
“If it wasn’t for RS Racepaint, the whole package wouldn’t look as good as it does today”, continued John, ” having worked with Russell in the States, I knew what I could expect”.
Apex Motorspot have a full development program to move the Jaguar to the next level.
“The car finished both races over the week-end and now the team have the data to move the project forward”, John stated,” but we still need to get some weight out of the chassis and also maintain the rigidity that has helped this car to perform”
“We have the full support of Jaguar and our suppliers, and we expect big things to happen later in the season”, John continued.
We all look forward to the performance of the jaguar as the Season unfolds.
