Overthorpe Industrial Estate in Banbury, RS Fabrications have doubled their workshop & manufacturing facility that can now except full size Tractor Units.

Having prevoiusly worked with Gary Coles and his Long Bonneted, Show Winning Scania “Convoy”,              RS Fabrications have manufactured Polished Stainless Steel Diesel Tanks, Lockers and other polished parts in the past and are now equipped with an Truck  lift, in the adjacent building to their original workshop.

“We have removed the wall and now have a 5200 sq ft workshop”, states Russell “and along with the double doors this will enable us to move forward with the larger projects that are anticipated in the future”.

Shane noted “on this occasion we were able to help Coles Transportation with this Country Wide, Long Bonneted Scania, welding Polished Grab Handles to the 6 Inch Exhaust Stacks. It has previously been a problem, due to the size of these vehicles and Tig welding out in the elements. The wind blows away the Argon Shielding Gas, used in the Tig welding process, that can play havoc with the quality of weld bead”.

“It will take some time to implement the new workshop layout & plan, and we are currently working around our full workload to improve the Thorpe House Manufacturing Facility”. added Russell
