GunnerEllis Harvey, had a shake down test of his new ride last week at Wroxton. The RS prepared CR85 was tested by “Gunner”, after a re-build and full prep at the RS Fabrications facility. Suspension set-up and power delivery were the highlights at the Wroxton event. “she was a bit trickey to get off the line”, stated Ellis “but by the 3rd race I had it nailed”.His RS CR85 Honda was back in the shop for further suspension modification, prior to another test this week-end at Weedon. “I hope the Boys at RS get it right this week-end, I’ve asked for some clutch mods to catapolt me off the line, and I only hope they can deliver”!

“Gunner Harvey has a full RS Factory ride for 2009, and he is under pressure to deliver at the Daventry event in 2 weeks. With the test program and the input from Gunner, we expect to turn the series on its head ” stated Russell.

GunnerShane took a similar line, ” we can only give Ellis the right equipment to do the job. Once he has left the gate, it all up to him”!

Ellis has selected to use his Dad’s BMX number 37 , on his RS CR85 Honda. “its a number my Dad had great success with and I intend to do the same and hopefully produce the same results”. said Ellis.

“Dodge” Harvey will be present at the upcoming meetings, offering support and covering the essentials, Bacon Sandwiches & Tea! “Its good to see Gunner following in his Dads footsteps, he really is a chip off the old block” said Dodge.
